Born and raised in California, after earning his double major bachelor of arts in English and Psychology from UCLA, Michael then moved to New York in 2007 to attend NYU Law School. Graduating in 2010, Michael started his "Big Law" career working in the private equity transactions and public M&A group at Weil's flagship NY office. Moving back to California in 2013, he continued honing his M&A skills while also advising startups and working on early stage financings in Wilson Sonsini's San Francisco office. In 2017 he and another attorney departed to start Matterhorn Legal, a boutique corporate law firm based in the bay area. In 2022 Michael founded Mandaray Legal.
